Strange Familiarity
I came back to Singapore on Monday and I started working out immediately after all that crazy late dinners (and suppers and snacks and what nots) in South Korea. Despite eating equally much during winter, I did not feel like I gained weight or anything but the same does not work in summer. Is it because you burn more calories to keep warm in winter? Does anyone else feel the same way?
Anyway...
What is home? Is it the place you grew up, spent most of your time, or the place that you feel most comfortable in? I don't exactly miss a lot of things here except my family, my mother's cooking and some friends. I was on the bus today at a very touristy district and I suddenly felt like I am a tourist in my own country. I don't know, I always have this weird feeling whenever I come home from South Korea. Having lived in Australia and South Korea, I always thought I prefer Singapore but these days I am not so sure. With some recent social affairs news, it is starting to make me wonder about my country's compassion for our own people.
Hopefully I feel inspired again soon to continue with my fashion and beauty posts instead of such mundane rants!
Here's this evening's sunset from my home. How beautiful are the colours?

Yes, really a beautiful sunset! I think we never should estimate our roots and therefore I really understand how you felt. Hopefully, you will nevertheless be happy in Singapore away from your family in South Korea ...

Aww. What you feel is completely normal and on most times, I feel the same way as you do. It's okay to rant, at least you're letting all the negative feelings out. Cheer up :)
