Living in Seoul: The First Week

So.. Where do I begin? About over 6 months ago, I decided that I want to live in Seoul, for a while. At 30, it's not like I want to study again for another 1 to 2 years. I knew that finding a job there would be difficult as well because I don't speak the native language well so I figured, the best way to do this would be to take up a short-term language course.. And here I am.

I took a sabbatical from work and I'm enjoying every bit of my time here. Thinking back during my time in Brisbane, there were so many things I wanted to do if I could back then, so this time I am just gonna be getting out of my comfort zone and do the things I normally wouldn't. Right at the start of this year, I kinda knew that this year is the year that I just want to do anything I want to. Do you get that feeling sometimes that you're being held back by too many things.. And all you want to do is to just throw them aside and do whatever your heart and mind feels like at that time? This is me, now. :)

This is not going to be like a blog asking for readers, but really like a good old traditional blog back in the days when people just document their days. The next few months are going to be amazing and I want to remember them, and also share some useful information with people who may be in the same shoes as I am.

I woke up early today cause my water supply was cut last night *horror face*. There was a construction in front of the building I'm staying at and the water only came back this morning at 7am. I couldn't shower last night (HAHA) but I did wash my face and slept on top of my blanket before waking up 4 hours later just to shower. It's a little gross but hey I can't help it. I didn't even notice that there was a notice saying that the water supply would be cut.

I am doing my laundry, waiting for the cycle to end before going to the roof top to hang them so I have some time to write this.

I really want to share about my experience finding accommodation but that deserves a post by itself. So till the next time....

Xoxo
