4-course dinner at hashi during restaurant week a couple of weeks ago. the sashimi and beef cheek were really really awesome and worth what we paid for during restaurant week. but if i had to pay the regular prices for these, i probably wouldn't even think about it. i would rather buy shoes with that money! bahaha.
some background - hashi is headed by executive chef tadashi who used to work at nobu london and australia.
you might wonder, how would i know about nobu? from my crazy tabloid reading days, i learnt that nobu is an expensive japanese restaurant frequented by many hollywood celebrities. haha whoever said reading tabloids is a waste of time.. ;)
